Dec - Jan - Feb

These are the winter months, you can enjoy snowfall at Manali itself. Distance hill peaks will be covered with snow so you will get a good view. There will be less water in river but stay away from river as water will be freezing cold. You can experience snow in Manali town and enjoy walking on snow at Mall road.�

 There will less traffic in most of the tourist places and best time for honeymooners.

 Sky will be clear and blue.

 Best time for Photography.

 Roads up to Manali from Delhi, Chandigarh, Kullu will remain open but beyond Manali towards Leh roads will be closed.

 Rohtang Pass will be closed

 Daytime temperature can go up to 7 degree and night it will be less than 0 degree, can drop up to -5.

 Carry heavy woollen dress.

 Chances of snowfall : High

 No Apple on trees, you can get at market only.

 Outdoor activity : Skiing , Paragliding, Zorbing, horse riding

 Accommodation : You will get discount at hotels but between 25th Dec to 3rd Jan you need to book in advance and don�t expect any discount.

 Fall in temperature : Be prepared for low temperature and occasional road block due to heavy snowfall, don't venture into remote areas unless you are comfortable in cold conditions.

Best time for Honeymoon couples and for photography

March - April

Before the summer season this time is best time for photography as weather will be fine with clear sky, there may be occasional snowfall in March.�

July - Aug - Sep

This is the monsoon time so rain will be there and this is also apple growing time. Less tourist will be there at Manali in this season.

 Occasional landslides can stop the traffic. Road condition will be bad due to rain.

 Rohtang Pass will remain open but but it depends on weather conditions

 No Chances of snowfall at Manali but you can experience at Rohtang pass
